Tengile River Lodge is one of the newest lodges in the Sabi Sands game reserve, the word "Tengile" means “tranquility” in the Tsonga language, andBeyond Tengile River Lodge has an absolute river frontage and a private settings on the Sand River. The views from the lodge are one of the key wow factors when staying at Tengile, the interior and the exterior design of the lodge made maximum use of the river and the bush views ensuring a memorable stay at one of the best lodges in the Sabi Sands game reserve.
Tengile River Lodge offers luxury accommodation in nine private suites, built in the shade of trees and the cool almost forest like environment.  Each suite enjoys a tranquil river outlook. The elevated structure gives  the illusion that they are suspended over the riverbed. Each suite has a private bathroom and outdoor shower, a lounge, dining area, and a bar, together with a private deck, swimming pool, and outdoor seating and dining area.
Tengile River Lodge offers safari activities in the world famous Sabi Sands game reserve, you are guaranteed an incredible close up experience with Africa's Big Five, board your open 4×4 safari vehicle in the company of an experienced ranger and a local tracker team, who will wow you while tracking Africa's famous animals. The Sabi Sands is known for magnificent big five sightings including the highest concentration of big cats in Africa.
Children who are 12 years and older are welcome at Tengile River Lodge. Tengile offers two inter-connecting suites for families traveling with children. Unfortunately there are no triple room options.
