Lukimbi Safari Lodge - Kruger National Park
Lukimbi Safari Lodge is situated in a private concession area of the southern Kruger National Park. Overlooking a dry riverbed and waterhole, this sophisticated African-styled 5 star lodge offers outstanding game viewing in a spectacular wilderness setting. Lukimbi’s 15 000 hectares borders three river systems, ensuring a huge diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five.
Spectacular sunsets rim the seemingly endless horizon before twinkling stars fill the black sky, and the stillness is broken only by the sounds of the wild. Unwind in this pristine setting, and experience the romance of the bushveld in sumptuous comfort.
The central reception area of Lukimbi Safari Lodge provides breath taking views over the pristine bush, looking across the seasonal riverbed towards an open plain. With the building of the lodge, the idea was to bring as much of the outside to the inside as possible, so covered open decks flow naturally into the immaculately decorated main areas. Around every corner you will be surprised and delighted by the combination of culturally inspired décor and vast open spaces, a constant reminder that you are now in Africa!
Meals at this child friendly accommodation are always a special event - enjoy a breakfast in the heart of the bush, eat your fill at the most amazing and delectable lunch spread and indulge in quiet time with an intimate dinner in the wine cellar. To make your stay even more perfect, a full beauty treatment including reflexology and aromatherapy at the health spa will ensure complete relaxation.
With a fully equipped conference centre for up to 40 delegates, Lukimbi Safari Lodge is the ideal option to combine business with pure pleasure in Kruger National Park.

Lukimbi Safari Lodge - Information
South Africa is blessed with a rich diversity of wilderness areas, each unique in its own right. But when we stepped foot on this private concession in the southern area of the Kruger National Park 18 years ago, we knew we had found somewhere very special. We walked the entire 15000 hectare property and were struck by the beauty and diversity of the landscape, the life-giving water source of the Lwakahle River and the rich abundance of wildlife. Our connection to this sacred land was instant, and we were awarded custodianship of the concession in 2000, finalized in a moving ceremony with the South African National Parks Board where our presence was blessed by a minister and traditional elders (known as Sangomas).
Every room and living space was designed around the view, while latticed ceilings filter the sun’s dappled light, casting ambient shifting shadows as the sun moves across the sky. This Lodge is one with the environment, and you can feel it.
The pool area is a place of serenity, right on the bank of the Lwakahle River. It includes multi-leveled relaxation decks, with a pool overlooking the river. A children’s paddle pool is close by.
