Olifants Rest Camp - Information

Olifants Camp is located in a transitional zone, where there are two different kinds of flora that support a variety of wildlife. Zebra, Impala, Kudu, and Elephant find cover from the low-lying Mopane trees in the north. The buffalo, giraffe, and kudu are scattered throughout the undulating plains to the south. Along the Olifants River, game watching and sightseeing trips in Kruger Park offer views of wildlife like lions, crocodiles, and hippopotamuses, in addition to a variety of bird species like eagles, storks, and owls. Olifants Rest Camp has a sheltered vantage platform from which to see wildlife. You can expect to see crocodiles in the Olifants River, hippos, and the rare lion kill from your Kruger Park lodging.
All of the thatched bungalows with two, three, and four beds have air conditioning and en suite bathrooms. While some bungalows have a kitchenette, some have shared kitchens. Additionally, there are two 4-bed bungalows that come with two single beds in each room. These two bungalows have air conditioning, a big veranda, a lounge/dining area, two bathrooms (one en suite), and an outside braai (barbeque). There is no microwave in the outdoor kitchen, but it does contain a cooker plate. A fridge/freezer combo, a sink, cooking utensils, plates and cutlery are among the other amenities. The opulent guest houses at Olifants come equipped with cable TV, various private viewing decks for sightseeing, en suite bathrooms, and lounges. Eight guests can stay in each guest house. 8 people can sleep in Nshawu in 4 rooms. Every room has two single beds in it. Lebombo can accommodate up to 8 people in 1 room with a queen-size bed and 3 rooms with 2 single beds apiece. Olifants Camp does not offer camping or caravan amenities. Recently, a venue with 20 seats was created and furnished with conventional conference equipment. A slide projector, flip charts, a whiteboard, a movie, and an overhead projector are examples of conference equipment. This hotel in Kruger Park with meeting spaces and safari chances is ideal for business travellers. For those who want to stay up to date on current events or who appreciate sports, Olifants offers cable television in its community TV area.
A safari through the Kruger Park may reveal the following animals: ostrich, zebra, giraffe, lion, hyena, elephant, leopard, duiker, waterbuck, baboon, impala, kudu, wildebeest, and impala.
Olifants Camp offers sightseeing and game viewing opportunities. A guest's Kruger Park safari is accompanied by a sheltered viewpoint platform. Here, crocodiles in the Olifants River, hippos, and occasionally even lion kills can all be spotted. One of the highlights of Kruger Park is the guided game walks along the Olifants River, which offer an excellent opportunity to gain intimate knowledge of the bush. But riding a mountain bike track will be the most thrilling aspect of your vacation. During this Kruger Park safari and suggested itinerary, you can enjoy bush braais (barbecues) in the morning or evening while taking in the warmth of a campfire and the flickering night sounds.
