Deep in the Sabi Sand Reserve the lodge is made up of 10 hidden wooden chalets nestled in the heart of the South African bush.
There is a central open sided thatched Lappa which is where you will find a nice lounge to relax in, a three sided bar for socialising during the afternoons and the evenings, a dining area for
all your meals and lastly a help yourself 24/7 tea/coffee making area.
The lodge is not surrounded by an electric fence, which means you are really living in the bush!
Each chalet has a nice en-suite bathroom with hot and cold-water showers, flushing toilet and a wash hand basin. The chalets lead
off from a wooden boardwalk and are very much secluded in the surrounding bush. Every chalet has a wooden deck with deck chairs for a leisurely afternoon bird watching from your room.
Each chalet contains either twin beds or a king sized bed, all with wardrobes, dressing tables and mosquito nets. Mosquito
repellents are also provided for all our guests in the chalets. The chalets are serviced and kept clean on a daily basis - bedding sheets and towels are provided.
At the lodge there is a lovely clear swimming pool adjacent to the main Lappa area which encases the bar. The bar is open all day.
Poolside deck chairs are available for you to spend lazy midday hours in the baking hot sun with your family or friends, swimming enjoying your holiday.
Close to the lodge there is a game viewing hide next to a small water hole. It's not unusual for a herd of Elephant to wander to
this water hole at any time of the day for a drink.
At night, with the window blinds rolled up leaving mosquito netting between you and the bush, one can clearly hear the call of the
African Scops owl; the roar of a majestic Lion or the cry of a Jackal. Going to sleep with the sounds of the bush is a great experience.
A campfire burns throughout the night for those who wish to stay up late!
