If you require any other travel arrangements in South Africa such as internal flights, hotel accommodation, day excursions, car hire, trips to Victoria Falls or to have your whole South Africa holiday 'tailor-made' incorporating any one of our safaris: your enquiry should be emailed to our department.

The most popular tourist route is to fly into Cape Town first to enjoy the 'Mother City' and the 'Garden Route'. Then fly up to Johannesburg Airport for a Kruger Park or Sabi Sand Reserve safari. At the end of the safari you are dropped off back in Johannesburg either to catch an evening flight back to Cape Town or to one's respective country or to overnight at a hotel near the airport to catch a flight out the next day.

 

Flying up from Cape Town directly to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit does save a few hours travelling overland but at a big cost. The cheapest option from Cape Town is to fly up to Johannesburg on the first early morning flight on the day you want your safari to start. Your Safari Ranger dressed in full safari uniform and holding a name board, will meet you directly off your flight and start your safari. You would need to make sure you book a flight that arrives before 10.00am.

 

If you are not able to book an early morning flight we suggest you fly up to Johannesburg the evening before. Transfer and overnight at a hotel near the airport. The next morning we'll meet you at your hotel at 7.00am.

NOTES:

 

1) If your planning to fly into Johannesburg Airport to start your safari from your respective country or from Cape Town you need to make sure you book a flight that arrives before 10.00am if possible. It's best to have some time in hand travelling down to the Kruger National Park or the Sabi Sand Reserve.

 

2) If your planning to fly out from Johannesburg Airport back to your respective country or down to Cape Town you also need to make sure you book your flight out for around 8.00pm. This gives you time to check in, have something to eat, spend time shopping at duty free etc.

 

3) If you prefer to fly directly from Cape Town to Kruger Int Airport in Nelspruit, we will meet you off your flight to start your safari.

 

4) We will always make sure you're back in Jo'burg in time for your flight. There is no need to be concerned about missing your flight. It is of course important with your safari planning to make sure you allow for the relevant number of hours to 'check in' for your flight. You would need to check this with your air-line.

 

5) Please also be advised that If your flight is delayed or can only arrive after 10.00am, we may arrive at the entrance to Kruger Park 'late'. For the vehicle to enter an additional fee of R250.00 would be payable (cash) for your account.
