5 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 8th September 05

Thank you for this, Andrew & Natalie.

I will be back in Canada after September 30.  After I have my slides processed, our plan is to combine our collective efforts and one of us, James, is likely going to set up a website for viewing. I will reply to you after I am back.

In a nutshell, it was a stellar experience all round!  Willem was wonderful, and Bev shows great promise too!  I suggest that the 3-hour days walk, instead of the night drive, as a default option.

All good wishes,

Colin

3 Day Fly-in Classic Kruger Safari - 30th August 05

Hello Andrew!

Thank you for your kind note, we had a lovely time on our safari adventure.

Willem is terrific: eager, intelligent and kind. He relentlessly searched for a lion and we found our king of the jungle just before our departure yesterday. His home cooked breakfast was memorable, and his never ending patience and good humor a gift to travellers.

The travel arrangements ( flight and accomodations) were seamless, Willem met us at the airport the minute we arrived and delivered us for return in perfect timing.

Your patience as I determined my travel needs before arrival ( those many emails from me, with various enquries and changes) should be noted as well.

You should certainly be included in The Lonely Planet series as we are devotees of their guide books and are certain you would be an asset to their repertoire and their readers.

Thank you for a wonderful adventure.... even with the Kruger burning our guide made our trip a memorable and rich experience.

If we can serve you in the US, as references or in any other way, please let us know.

Best Regards,

Carla and Elise

5 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 24th August 05

Hi there,

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week holiday in South Africa - it is a unique and very special place.??

Our 5 day Classic Kruger Safari was the highlight.??We were spoilt with Robert as our guide - he was extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of Africa.?

Not only were we lucky enough to see up-close-and-personal the wildlife of Kruger, Robert also gave great us educational commentary with a dash of dry humour which we really appreciated.?

We saw three of the big five - elephant, buffalo and lion, various antelope, hippos, crocodiles, monkeys and baboons, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, hawks, owls, ostrich and even a black mamba!? The African sunsets were beautiful to see.?

The accommodation was comfortable and Robert concocted great food!? Thank you for the fantastic adventure? - we will be telling all our friends about Safari Rangers.

Regards,

Charity and Dale

PS.? We organised our entire trip over the internet and I just want to say that your website really stood out.? It's professionally presented, informative and easy to navigate and we appreciated your responsiveness to our queries.??

5 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 11th August 05

Dear Natalie, Andrew and Leonard,

Thank you very much to make our safari happened!  We had an amaizing time and incredible experiences! We saw the Big 4, unfortunatelly we missed Leopard. (We have a reason to go back!)  Otherwise we were really very lucky  we saw some highly endangered animals for example Black Rhino(!!!!), Ground Hornbill, Hyena, some Eagles, and so on.

Our guide, William, is a really great man, he has a very nice personalitiy, he has an unbelievable knowledge on all of the animals, plants and historical stories. We enjoyed his company very much. And he is such a great chef, that both of us have put on 2 kilos during a week! Please, please pass on to him our best wishes and greetings!

We enjoyed our time so much that we are already planning when to return.

As soon as I can I will send you some nice pictures as well! (This is my first day here at my company after my holiday, so unfortunatelly I have a lot to do.)

Once again thank you very much for the unforgettable experiences, special thanks to William!!!!

I will get back to you with some pictures soon.

Best regards,

Nelli & George

4 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 26th July 05

Hi guys

Been a bit hectic since got back from SA but it was fantastic. To be honest I had no idea of what to expect but with only ourselves and another couple on the safari it was great we had loads to see and there was not the boredom around that I had been told to expect. There seem to be something to see all the time.

Fossie our guide was fantastic. He was relaxed enough that he did not seem like a tour guide or a bus driver more like a friend who was showing us around the place. Nothing was to much trouble for him.

I have a few photos that I took while in the park, a few might be an understatement but digital makes it so much easier.

4 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 26th July 05

Hi guys,

I meant to do this earlier but the holiday continued after the safari and, well, the beach was calling...

Stacey and I were lucky enough to be on a 4 day safari to Kruger from 26-29 July with Fosey as our guide (was that with one or two 's'). The safari was great from the planning to the accommodation and itinerary.

But the big thing that stuck in our minds (apart from seeing the Big 5 in one day and generally having such a sightings bonanza that impala, elephants and giraffes almost became a bit boring) was the attitude, demeanour and work ethic of our guide. More than a guide, Fosey was an outstanding host in every sense of the word and really did make our safari a much more enjoyable experience than say, a drive through a National Park.

If all of your guys are as professional as Fosey, then I'm sure that any friends to whom we recommend your company will have just as great a safari as we did!

Regards and many thanks for a terrific African adventure,

John and Stacey

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 25th July 05

Dear Andrew & Natalie,

Thanks for your message. We arrived back in the UK a couple of weeks ago after spending 3 weeks in South Africa. As you rightly say, South Africa is an amazing country, we all had a truly memorable holiday.

Our Safari was the first leg of our trip, having arrived in Jo'burg the day before we set off for Kruger. Our 3 days with Willem will stay in our memories for a very long time.

Your website is full of useful information although, with this being our first safari, we were not totally sure what to expect. However, at the end of the day, the whole experience was was beyond anything we had imagined!

Not only was the game viewing excellent, in the company of an expert guide, but the level of service and organisation was faultless and enabled us to enjoy a totally relaxing and memorable 3 days.

Before we left the UK, we were not totally sure how our children (aged 9 and 11) would take to the experience - would the whole thing be too tiring? We had no need to be concerned however and we would be happy to recommend a Safari Rangers itinerary to other parents.

Indeed, we would be happy to recommend Safari Rangers to anyone - I think we've mentioned you to a few people already! It's amazing how many people we've come across recently who are considering South Africa for a future holiday. (Do you have any Safari Rangers literature we could pass on to some friends who don't have internet access at home?)

Please feel free to forward our comments to Lonely Planet.

Once again, many thanks for helping provide us with one of our holiday "highlights".

We've attached a few photo's you might wish to look at.

Kind regards,

Clare and Andrew

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 23rd July 05

Hi Andrew & Natalie,

I am so glad you requested my reaction to our safari, because I was going to email you anyway!

This safari weekend has been one of the best weekends of my life.  Two American college friends and I were looking for a safari to Kruger, because we would all be in Johannesburg at the same time, and your company tailored a safari to just what we were looking for.

When I had questions about the trip, Rob was very prompt in getting in touch with me and flexible with change of plans in the pick up and drop off.  Rob was flexible, kind, knowledgeable, fun, and a general huge blessing throughout the trip.

This was my first safari, and as a little bit of a city girl, I didn't quite know what to expect.  The lodging was great.  I had so much fun on the actual safari.  We saw all of the big five except cheetah.  We got so close to the animals, I could practically reach out and touch them (BUT I didn't, because that would be against the rules!).  The views we saw were breathtaking as well.

We were well supplied with water, binoculars, and books, and our faithful guide knew the routes well and could answer any question we threw at him.  (Although we never did get to hear his impression of a roaring lion...)

The panoramic tour back to Joburg was great.  I am spending five weeks working at an orphanage in Joburg, and this was my one chance to see the rest of the country, and I am blown away by its beauty and diversity.

I have rarely felt so in awe of the blessings God has given us, as I did on this trip.  I would definitely recommend Safari Rangers to others, and will try to convince my parents to go on safari when I get back to the states.

Thanks so much!

If you ever need to try out an all-inclusive safari on someone, let me know!

Marianne Kinney

4 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 15th May 05

Hello Andrew and Natalie

First of all can we all thank Robert and yourselves for a memorable experience on our 4-day Kruger Safari.

Having lived in South Africa for three years we had never thought to take a trip to Kruger National Park.

Robert collected the six of us from the City Lodge Hotel in Johannesburg in a minibus with a trailer.  The five-hour journey was pleasant and comfortable with adequate stops.  Our guide was a wealth of information with regards to the countryside between Johannesburg and Nelspruit.

We entered the park at 1.00pm and immediately saw a Leopard with its kill.  The rest of the day was spent touring the southern Kruger area spotting a variety of wildlife. Once again our guide was a mine of information.

The first night we stopped in Pretoriuskop, the accommodation was a three bed roomed bungalow.  Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.  Before the evening meal we explored the camp, having a drink in the bar and bought some gifts in the well-stocked shop.

While we were away from the accommodation Robert prepared and cooked a fantastic meal in his cast iron pot.  The table was set outside on the veranda including small oil lamps, tablecloth and wine glasses.  From this point my wife and daughter wanted to bring Robert home to the UK. He waited on us hand and foot and nothing was too much trouble.

Getting up at five fifteen the following morning was a slight problem as my alarm clock failed and Robert awakened us at 5.40 with tea and coffee.

We left Pretoriuskop when the gatesd at six and started our game hunt.  This included over the next three days Elephant, Rhino, Crocodiles, Hippopotamus, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Impala, Baboon, Monkey, Giraffe, Kudu and Zebra.  We had to wait until the afternoon of the third day to spot a lone male Lion.

Robert cooked breakfast at 10 am in a small rest camp.  Cereals, bacon and eggs always taste better in theair.

The second and third night we spent in Skukuza, the accommodation was in single roomed rondavals (thatched roof round houses), which were very clean and comfortable.  Robert again gave us two memorable meals outside under the stars.  The third day was spent as the two previous chasing the elusive “Big Five”.

The third evening we spent on a night safari, which was organised for us with a Kruger game warden.  This was great fun and we spotted more Lion, Hyena, and Snakes.

The fourth morning we again toured the park until mid-morning. Leaving the Kruger behind we travelled north, stopping for breakfast before arriving at the spectacular Blyde River Canyon and the Lisbon waterfalls.  We then stopped at the old gold mining town of Pilgrims Rest for lunch. Our guide’s choice of restaurants and tourist attractions were first class.

We then left reluctantly for our hotel in Johannesburg.

We felt that the itinerary was well thought out, and we had seen more than we could have wished for, but it was still a very relaxing experience, which was due entirely to the professional and friendly way Robert conducted himself.  He answered all our questions regarding the wildlife of the area.

This was our first taste of a safari and we all found it to be an exciting, thrilling and informative experience.

We would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family.  If asked what we would complain about in writing, the page would be blank!

We wish you all best wishes for the future.

From

Jim, Ann, Steven, Janine, Jenny and Gavin.

5 Day Overland Classic Kruger Safari - 10th May 05

Dear Andrew-Natalie,

We had a truly awesome time at the safari. It was a very amazing unparalleled experience. Both of us were truly thirlled. South-Africa is a beautiful country. We would love to visit it again in the future.

The safari tour was very very well managed. We are very much grateful to Mr. Fossie Ferreira, who did a tremendous job to ensure that we were comfortable. He took very good care of us. He is a great cook too.

We loved talking to him, sharing his experiences and learnt a lot about wildlife from him. He has great knowledge and very good communication skills. We liked both the camps that he took us to and the energy and enthusiasm he showed in taking us around.

We are in the process of selecting our best pictures from the safari. We will surely send you some that we like.

One small comment/suggestion- I think your website should be more specific about the 5 day vs. a 3 day tour. A 5 day tour is really a 3 1/2 day tour in the park; also, it would be helpful for future visitors to know the distance from Joburg to the Kruger park to plan their trip.

Overall, we had a fantastic time. I have recommended your safari to a few people at my work who asked me about my trip.

Thanks a lot for all your help. If we or our friends decide to visit a South African safari, we will be glad to contact you.

Cheers,

Varsha-Ashish

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 14th April 05

Hello,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you but getting back to Switzerland and emptying the cases etc has taken the past few days!

Anyway, all I can say is that I had one of the best experiences of my life in Kruger Park and it was made extra special because of Fossie our Ranger.  He was an absolute gem.

Everything was so well organised and the food was just to die for!  The cooked breakfast really spoilt us and everyone was really jealous of the fantastic eggs and bacon that Fossie made.

The personalised tour was just great - it meant that we could stop and look at everything no matter whether flora or fauna.  Fossie was really informed and answered all of our questions.

We had a great time and we want to come back to South Africa and perhaps do the Sabie Sands area this time and if Fossie were available we would be very happy to have him guide us again.

Ok, I have some piccies attached.

Thanks again,

Amy and Robert

4 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 30th March 05

Hi Andrew,

Just back today and I was going to email you to thank you for all your help. It was an amazing experience and we thoroughly recommend it in every way.

We are actively working on our own return next Easter as well as about five different groups of family/friends. We cannot recommend you higher! And please feel free to use any of our comments in your materials and bid to get included in various guidebooks.

First, congrats to Willem who could not have been kinder or more knowledgeable. We just loved him and we are so grateful to him for all the information he gave us as well as the good care he took of us. He's simply a great guide and terrific human being!

Nick is particular was grateful for all the stuff he taught Nick about tracking. We are all shocked by how much we learned in just a few days and how many animals we saw.

The trip was terrific value for money too. We found it easy and we felt safe and comfortable.  Willem was great with our 9 year old daughter and very kind to me with my fear of driving in bad weather.....

We loved our trip and we are very grateful to you two as well as to Leonard and Willem for making a dream come true for us.

Thanks,

Cathy, Nick, and Kayla

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 24th January 05

Dear Andrew,

Yes we had a great time in South Africa, so much so, that we've only just returned to the UK.

SA is a truly amazing country and malaria tablets notwithstanding, the visit to the Kruger was the highlight.

We were lucky to see all of the Big 5, including a fleeting glance of a leopard in the long grass!

Our guide Willem Pietersen, was excellent, very informative. I dare say if it had been left to us we would have missed all but the animals who stood on the road in front of us.

I will never go to another zoo ever again. The biggest thrill in the world is seeing wild animals up close. The three days were truly amazing from start to finish.

We have some pictures which haven't been downloaded yet, but we'll gladly send you some of the shots.

Thanks for everything.

Regards

Andrew

4 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 15th January 05

Hi there,

We have just returned form South Africa where we had a wonderful time.

We 'did ' it all, had a week in Cape Town, up to Jo'burg onto the Kruger. Back to Jo'burg onto Durban and Kwa Zulu Natal and the Zulu Battlefields, onto Port Elizabeth and to Addo and then to Kysner, down the Garden route onto Stellenbosch.

We took our golf clubs with us and managed 7 or 8 rounds of golf.

The trip to the Kruger worked out very well, I did not want 5 * luxury with gourmet meals and spas and massages, so although the accommodation was rather on the basic side, it was completely adequate and with there being just 4 of us on the trip we thought it worked out very well.

Being collected in Jo'burg, worked out well along with being dropped off. Fossie was charming and very knowledgeable. He took pride in his cooking, which he obviously enjoyed.

So the bottom line is it was very good value for money and as we went to see animals, that is exactly what we wanted.

We saw all sorts but unfortunately no leopards, thought Lions and rhinos, along with a wild dog, of which there are only 350 in the Kruger, so we were lucky.

I am trying to edit my movies and if there is a good one of the wild dog, I will send it along.

Thanks

Sue

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 12th January 05

Dear Andrew,

It was glorious and far exceeded our expectations.  Having booked this online, we were a bit hesitant as to what we might encounter.

We need not have worried.  What we had was a personally escorted tour led by "our man Wilhelm."  We must say that it was his knowledge, experience, attention to detail, and obvious interest in assuring that ours would be the best possible safari ever that made our trip so memorable.  He is to be highly commended.

I would recommend your company to anyone.  Not only were our accommodations the "best in the bush", but the food was superb.  Our vehicle was comfortable and in good repair, a necessity when one embarks on such a trip.  We were on and off road, and Wilhelm seemed to sense where we could seek out the best sightings and his ease with Kruger Park officials also helped direct us to the most likely encounters.  We were also able to gain invaluable information regarding the veldt during our journey to and from the park.

Our fantastic memories will last a lifetime. Thanks to you, our introduction to "the real Africa" was an incredible event.

Anyone wanting an unhurried yet full exposure to nature as it could be should strongly consider booking with you.

Please feel free to forward our comments.  Our best to Wilhelm and your staff and our thanks for making our tour one of the peak experiences of our lives.

Sincerely,

William and Rochelle

4 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 3rd January 05

Hi,

I think I speak for all 3 of us if I say it say it was great! A magnificent experience.

The walking safari was one of the best things we did I south Africa. The opportunity to get that close to the animals, a rhino in 20 meters and a giraffe in 10.... When we finally saw the lions (our last day) at least my happiness was complete.

The feeling when the lions, 2 male, walked just across the road in front of our car. My heart was beating so fast and my hands was shaking so most of my pictures get blurred, but so what.

I saw this beautiful animals up close and that was one of the greatest things in my life! I will never forget that feeling.

So thank you for making such a perfect safari, not to mention the service we got from our guide - Wilhem. He was the best! Woke us up early every morning, made our breakfast and dinner, wowing us the animals and told us about them and their behaviour - all with a smile on his lips that showed us that he really enjoyed this as much as we.

Give him our best will you?

Regards

Maria

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 27th December 04

Safari Rangers:

Our safari was the experience of a lifetime.

We stalked a leopard stalking prey, marvelled at multiple lions, gazed at countless buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, zebras, giraffes, elephants, you name it.

Our guide, Willem, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and extremely diligent.

The accommodations were outstanding and the service impeccable.

The beauty of the S. African Bush cannot be adequately captured by pictures.

I could not recommend this experience highly enough.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks.

Stephen

4 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 24th December 04

I had a fantastic time.

My guide was so knowledgeable and could answer any question I would ask ranging from questions on the animals to the plants, insects to the history of the country.

We spent as much time as possible out game viewing but had time to relax and rest as well.

The one time I went on a night drive with the Kruger Park people, it was markedly worse and showed how excellent the Safari Rangers work is.

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 18th December 04

Hi Andrew,

Apologies for not replying to you sooner.

We both had an absolutely amazing time in South Africa, and there was no doubt that the safari was the highlight of the holiday!

We both thought what a great guide Willem was. He was so knowledgeable about not only the Kruger, but the animals, and birds, and also about the history, and pointing out sites of interest on the way back to Jo'burg.

We saw 4 of the Big 5 (no leopards) - as it was our first safari of any kind we saw more than we ever expected to see. The night drive was definitely worthwhile, the highlight being 4 young male lions lying by the side of the road! Willem definitely knew where to drive to catch sight of the animals during the day and we say plenty of elephants, giraffes, zebra, buffalo, hippos and lots more.

The camps we stayed at were also beyond what we had expected, and the food was delicious! There's nothing like food cooked in theair.

If I ever have any friends or family going to SA I will definitely recommend your guides.

I thought the price was reasonable for what we did over the 3 days - we never expected to see so much, nor get looked after so well!

Please forward any comments on, this was an amazing and very memorable experience.

Many thanks for organising, and if you are in touch with Willem, please forward on our best regards and thanks.

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 26th November 04

Andrew and Natalie,

Thanks for the email. The safari was very good.

Although we only saw three among the Big Five, we did see quite a few animals. Willem is a very nice guide and we had a wonderful time.

Maybe next time you could just try to prepare less food for us. ^_^

We will remember to recommend your safari to our friends when they get a chance to go to SA.

Have a nice day and thanks for the great service.

Cheers,

Hi,

Thanks for your e-mail.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time on safari. The Kruger Park is a wonderful place, and the service provided was excellent.

Robert, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. In addition he cooked up great food, and helped us sort out accommodation in Jo'burg on our return.

We had a wonderful experience and I will be recommending your company to anyone I meet who plans to come to South Africa and I will be happy to pass on these opinions to Lonely Planet or anyone else who would like to hear them.

Thanks for a fantastic tour.

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 16th November 04

Andrew & Natalie,

Sorry for the delay in responding to your e-mail been a bit hectic since returning from holiday!

We had a truly fantastic trip to South Africa and the Safari organised through you guys was the highlight.

Our guide (Willem) was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic and really made the trip memorable.

The accommodation at Skukuza camp in Kruger was excellent and Willem's cooking was 1st class!

Hearing all about the animals we sighted from Willem made the experience even more enjoyable - without him we would have missed loads.

I will certainly recommend your company to anyone seeking a safari in SA as it really was well organised, professional and above all fun!

All the best.

Matt

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 6th November 04

Hallo Safari Rangers,

pls. feel free to add my comments to your website or Lonely Planet.

The tour was organized very well starting from enrolment, pick up and drop off. The tour guide (Bartus) was excellent - with his expertise he was able to bring us South African wild life closer and due to his knowledge he showed us animals I probably wouldn't even have found due to their camouflage.

Entering the park we saw a pride of 14+ lions, we watched ground hornbills nesting, lots of impala, waterbucks, bushbucks, hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, crocodiles etc - anything you can dream of , Also - he is an excellent cook and he spoiled us during the three day trip.

The camp was great and nature very impressive. For a change I didn't only see airports, offices and customer - but with the long week end I also got a flavour of what South Africa can offer.

I would certainly recommend you to my friends and colleagues or book another trip with you.

Greetings from Vienna

Bertus was a great guide, very informative, friendly and helpful. We'll be sure to recommend your agency/company to anyone lucky enough to be heading to SA in the future.

5 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 3rd November 04

Dear Andrew and Natalie,

Yes, we are back from an extraordinary holiday and we appreciate that you would be interested to know our opinion which is in short: FANTASTIC!.

In long maybe it could be an assay, but at the moment I have no time to comment on it much, just briefly: Our guide was Mr Willie Pieterse and the service and care was really excellent and really better than anticipated to tell you the truth.

Everything was perfectly organized, including the fine accommodation set ups, the extra tours, everything. The only one thing we missed a bit - which was also due to lack of time we think- that there was no possibility to sit in the car for an hour or so and just watch the animals at a waterhole or at a view place or wherever.

In Zambia and Zimbabwe my husband remembers that they had even several opportunities to sit on high secure view points just to watch as hunters do. On the contrary we could see all big five and luckily a lot of rare species as well besides the common ones and a fare number of fascinating birds and reptiles too.

My husband took about 1500 pictures just in the Kruger (now using one of the latest digital NIKON cameras with different lenses), and of course an other 500 in the Cape area/whale watching/, Panoramic route, Jbourg and Soweto etc). Still, however, consider that our CD on Japan is a result of several years' work so the last two weeks cannot be compared to that enormous material (more than 35 thousand pictures!).

We are however ready to talk about some similar thing if you would like to think about a CD promotion on Safari Rangers. For such purpose you don't really need 2000 pictures and so much text.

Mr Pieterse anyway asked my husband if he could send him a collection of his latest photographs in Kruger, he would be very interested in it. So when my husband is ready with the first selection we can maybe send you one copy too and than you can have a look on the "raw " material and think about what next...

So we would like to thank you for the fine opportunity and that we really got a lifetime experience -including our sons!- for our money! We were also lucky with the weather!

Waiting to receive your receipt of our payment! Hope to keep in contact in the future too,

All the best,

Adrien and Laszló

Hi Andrew/Natalie,

We had an excellent time on the safari, Fossey (spelling?) was brilliant and made the trip a memorable one. Please pass on out thanks to him for everything he did for us.

Our only regret is not seeing a rhino, was very uncooperative of them to hide from us so well! You are not wrong when you say South Africa is an amazing country, can't wait to return.

Thank you for all you help,

Felix.

5
Day Classic Kruger Safari - 25th October 04

Hi Andrew

I had a very good safari in Kruger. We saw the big 5 although it was only a fleeting glimpse of a rhino.

My major interest was in the smaller animals like the dwarf mongoose. I saw a honey badger for the first time and she was carrying her young in her mouth.

Unfortunately the photos did not come out very well.

I was also interested in the bird life particular the ground hornbills and the kingfishers and we had good views of these. Of the big five we had some photos of a leopard but it was at distance so again the photos are not very good.

Kind Regards,

Mike

Dear Leonard,

Myself and my partner recently undertook one of your 3 day safaris, I am writing to inform you that we thought the tour was fantastic!

Your representative in the UK (Andrew) was very informative from the start, I changed a few dates and all of these were accommodated, all correspondence with your company was clear and sent in a timely fashion.

Our tour guide was exceptional, (Willem PIETERSE) he was full of knowledge regarding the animals, made fantastic food and was extremely accommodating. He made the tour comfortable and fun.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for a wonderful experience; I will be using your company again and will recommend it!

Regards

Andrew,

I just wanted to let you know  that we had a great time on our Kruger Park safari. It was an experience that we all will never forget.

Our guide Martin was the best and impressed us with his knowledge, energy and enthusiasm.

Hopefully I will have the opportunity to visit South Africa and Kruger Park again. I am recommending Safari Rangers to all my friends who may consider a trip to South Africa.

Take care,

Victor

My trip was very good. Leonard and Fossi made great arrangements.

Fossi is great! We saw big 4, didn't get to see the Rhino. We saw a herd of 30 elephants cross the road, awesome.

Will remember this for a long time.

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 3rd October 04

Dear Andrew & Natalie,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I have actually only just returned from South Africa.

After my time with Safari Rangers in Kruger, I spent a week in Cape Town and the surrounds. I had an excellent trip and my experience with Safari Rangers was nothing but a positive one.

This was my first time to the African Continent and it may have been difficult for me not to be excited. However, the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm shown by Fossie (our guide) made the trip a truly memorable, mind-expanding experience!  He was a great guide in all respects and I am sure he must be one of your most valued ‘assets’.

My partner (who is an Ecologist by training) was impressed by his knowledge of Kruger’s flora and fauna, while I was thoroughly impressed by his undying enthusiasm for his job and educating us visitors on things you don’t learn on National Geographic!

I will be happy to provide you with a detailed, positive write-up of my experience with your company and with Fossie.

Give me a week to settle back into my office and I will get my ‘safari news’ to you.

Warmest regards (and regards to Fossie),

Sasha

3 Day Classic Kruger Safari - 20th August 04

Dear Andrew,

I really want to thank you for the great experience: our safari was simply unforgettable!!!! Everything was great and perfect.

Robert, our guide, is a very special person: he did everything to make us feel comfortable and happy, to meet our needs, to let us see as much as possible. He was able to transmit us his fantastic love for all living creature through his unbelievable passion and knowledge of the nature. Thank you Robert!!!

Kruger Park is so amazing: I felt like living in a documentary! Elephants crossing the road, giraffes eating, impalas everywhere, lions, buffalos, hippos, birds (ask Robert for their names, he knows all of them!), a dream...

The accommodation was really nice, comfortable and clean: a bungalow (bigger than my own house!) with a fantastic patio where Robert served us his tasteful dinners. In that bungalow there was all we needed: cutlery, pottery, towels...I felt like at home, with my room, my private bathroom, the well organized kitchen...

It is quiet difficult for me to describe the sensations I had during those days: South Africa is something that you have to live, to see, to smell. Its landscapes, so so wild, so impressive, so powerful are unbelievable; its people, so sociable, so kind, so friendly are to be met.

And the organization was simply perfect. I will definitely come back. Soon.

Thank you so much.

Paola
